Bloom

For you I swoon
Into the sky that never seems to end
Stretched from here to the moon

Stagnant seas
Reflect stars strung effortlessly
darling float with me

Drifting in and out
 Daybreak will shed light
Illusions real and untrue

Breathe into me
Seconds will become minutes
Those minutes will become days

 We'll bloom
Together as one entity
Through turbulent seas and sunshine
You and Me

Bounce Baby Bounce

Apparently a few years ago there was this fantastic commercial shot in San Fransisco by Danish photographer Peter Funch, where thousands of bouncy balls cascaded down the hills of the bay.  So neato, I bet it was quite the site to see one lovely day!

Check out the video, it makes me all kinds of happy.  Plus it goes along to a "Heartbeats" by Jose Gonzalez (sigh).

Bubbles Bubbles, They're all Mine!

Always the Norweigens to be so creative and extremely cute with the little things.  Odin Hole Standal, is someone I'd like to adventure with and see his point of view on life and beauty.  The middle photo is a bubble reflecting the sunrise, can you believe that?!

I remember when my dad would help me make the biggest bubbles with two wands and a rope attached to each side.  We'd go to Oceanside and in between frolicing in the sea, building sand castles, and hitting back capri suns, the bubbles we made were HUGE!  Gotta talk to mom about getting the photos so I can share them with you.

French Photography

French photographer Eugene Atget sure captured 1900's Paris in a dreamy way.  I just love these photos and the aura they give off.  I wonder what it was like being an artist during the bohemian revolution...

Enjoy your hump day folks!

My First Engagement Shoot: Sabrina & Shane

Oh engagement shoots, I love you.  Pictured above are a few of my favorite images from last Saturday's shoot, at the Huntington with this wonderful couple.  For the past year I've been studying so many photo blogs, to give me an idea of how I want to shoot engagements and weddings.  Honing my art is a must and I really want to have fun with the couples that I work with.  Love is a magical thing my dears and I must tell their story through a series of images to make what they have stand out.

Take ONE has officially happened and I couldn't be happier, stay tuned for more to come!  If you happen to know anyone getting engaged or married and in need of an awesome photographer, contact me!  I will give them a super deal and undoubtedly they will enjoy shoots that are illustrious, exciting, cute, and anything but ordinary.

Happy Friday!
