Beach Trail Monday
The San Clemente beach trail is kinda my favorite thing right now. Emma and I frequent it once a day for a leisurely walk or an easy 4 mile run along the coast, easy cause it's so pretty you can't even tell you're exercising! I love running next to the gorgeous trains as they hug the coastline with me and the air isn't too bad either. Mornings are crisp and cool and sunsets are like watching a giant peach fall into the sea, illuminating all that is around. Sorta beats Griffith Park hikes majorly, I do miss my Observatory and climbing that backbone trail though.
I still can't believe it's December already... Can't wait to head up North for a huge Family Christmas party and winter vacation this weekend!

Disneyland
Disneyland, it's a place where dreams come true and smiles are guaranteed! I've been doing this thing since I was a little lass with mom, ditching school on Wednesdays to take magical field trips. What's even cooler is that when my dad retired he got a job working for the Mouse, so myself and select friends can get in for freezy.
The new Star Tours is crazy cool, different routes? I have allot of trips to make, in order to experience the universe in a new light. Thank god they still have the "lightspeed to Endor"! Little Mermaid was pretty cute too, nothing beats riding through one of your favorite childhood movies in a clam shell.
Oh Disneyland, I love you... and your bacon wrapped asparagus, riding the Tower of Terror two times in a row, and wine tasting.

Kern River
Kern River is one of my favorite places to go during the summer, especially with my fam. Lot's of picnicing happened and the water was incredibly perfect for jet skiing and drinking wine on the beach. Of course we had a trip or two to Kern River Brewing Company where they had the delicious Class X aged in Bourbon Barrels, which I will disclose the amount that we consumed over the weekend it was that good. For being a middle of nowhere town, they have the best grub ranging from awesome Fish & Chips to Bacon Bleu Cheese burgers, and after a long day on the water it totally hits the spot.
This little getaway is so close too! Only 3 hours from Los Angeles and absolutely gorgeous. Life is all about experiencing and living my friends, make it a point to get out and see this pretty little world... This weekend I'll be in June Lake and Mammoth, it's gonna be so relaxing I can't wait!

The Happiest Place on Earth
I've been doing Disneyland right since 1986, back in the day of Minnie Mouse dress overalls and fanny packs. This had to be one of the prettiest days at Disneyland I've ever experienced and the rain didn't even have a parade! Amazing.
I must say, the Lobster Nachos at Ariel's Grotto have changed and aren't great... Stay away from them. But do go near the Bacon wrapped Asparagus and Dole Floats of course, that's a no-brainer.
I might have been serenaded by some pirates and we might have sang a song together about Whiskey. I may have smiled too much yesterday cause my cheeks hurt, don't you hate when that happens?
Anywho... Happy Hump Day!
