Tim & Bree

Be Mine.  Last weekend I had the pleasure of doing a Valentine family shoot for the Hughes!  That little guy's name is George and he's absolutely adorable, as you can see.  These two are such great parents and it was so much fun capturing it in our lovely town of San Clemente.

Space Photography Bliss

Our world is kinda beautiful and thanks to astronaut Don Petit with his creative camera skills in the International Space Station, we get to swoon over these butes!  He took 30-second exposures capturing a 10-15 minute lapse of Auroras, Thunderstorms, and star trails.  More photos can be found here.

Hope you are all having a marvelous beginning to your week!

Yosemite Fall 2011

Yosemite, you are truly one of California's greatest wonders and I simply adore visiting you.  It's Fall and the leaves changing color that make me happy.  Actually, being with my family on vacations makes me the happiest.  I've been in the Spring and Summer many times, but this was kinda my favorite.  Crisp autumn air, chilly hikes, Pizza Patio Pizza, boardgames, Mammoth's Double Nut Brown, and starry night skies.

It's November and all I can think about is booze-spiced cider and making my very first Bourbon Pecan Pie.  Thank goodness I have an incredible brown bear to keep me warm through the winter cause it's been cold!

Mammoth le Magnificent

Weekend trip to some of California's most beautiful sites is what really makes me happy, especially when it's with the right people.  Oh labor day in an oh-so-amazing shmancy Mammoth house, creating delicious eats, drinks, and just down right having a fantastic time!  It is a little hard not roughing it, I mean I was really missing late night star gazing and light up Bocce Ball competitions, and truly earning my beer blanket.

Devil's Postpile is still radder than I remembered, I mean hot damn this earth is neat with it's geological magic!  I have a soft spot for Rainbow falls and deers frolicking free.  I just wish the creeks and lakes were actually warm enough to take a dip, especially after a sweaty hike.

I can't wait to go to Death Valley and Yosemite this fall... Cheers to lovely family and friends, and this little ol' thing we call life!
