Space Photography Bliss

Our world is kinda beautiful and thanks to astronaut Don Petit with his creative camera skills in the International Space Station, we get to swoon over these butes!  He took 30-second exposures capturing a 10-15 minute lapse of Auroras, Thunderstorms, and star trails.  More photos can be found here.

Hope you are all having a marvelous beginning to your week!

The Flower Fields

Sometimes life is dreamy.  Flowers all a blossom, sunsets into the sea, it's all fine by me.  My lovely sister Jennifer took me and my mom to The Flower Fields in Carlsbad on my birthday, kinda magical.  I'm getting all swoonsy just by looking at these photos, I'd love to do an engagement shoot here one day with new clients.

It's Friday, boy has it been a long week!  Happy weekend my darlings!

Yosemite Winter 2012

Oh weekend spent roadtripping up to the Wondrous National Park of Yosemite, I love you.  The chilly weather induced a strict stout and barley-wine beer diet and the picnics were perfect as usual.  This girl had the time of her life figure skating with Half Dome as her backdrop, doing some serious spins and actually landing jumps, thanks mom & dad for all those lessons!  I also realized that playing boardgames is a new current-times activity I need to do much more of.  Hoping to return back here sometime in May or this summer, do the Glacier Point hike down into the valley, or get crazy and do Half Dome in an entire day, it's been a while since I've felt the pain of a 16 mile hike.  Plus the reward afterward, pizza patio and as much beer as I want/deserve.  Another magnificent trip with my brother dearest, darling sister-in-law Erika, and Mr. Wallace.

Disneyland Christmas

That Christmas feeling at Disneyland with lights strung about and hot churros in the cold winter night...  I'm one of those people who can't get enough of it and that parade with rollerskating snowflakes and reindeer's who can't keep their tongue in their mouths,  gets me every time.

I still have wayyyy to many treats to make from my Pinterest board for parties to come.  Hope you're all having a wonderful hump day!

Bourbon Barrel Aged Yeti

Apparently it's National Stout Day, so I felt the need to review one of my favorite stouts from Great Divide.  Here we have a Bourbon barrel aged beauty who decided to spend 9 months aging in the Rockies and finally come down for a visit.  She's a real butte with her velvety cocoa and subtle vanilla undertones, ending on a roasty pleasant note.  There just so happened to be a truffle cake of some sorts on the table to pair with this, special thanks to Erika!  Overall I adored this spin on the Yeti, however I feel it would be far superior with a year or two of aging.  Can't wait to try my 2009 version of this, happy stout day ya'll!

Disneyland

Disneyland, it's a place where dreams come true and smiles are guaranteed!  I've been doing this thing since I was a little lass with mom, ditching school on Wednesdays to take magical field trips.  What's even cooler is that when my dad retired he got a job working for the Mouse, so myself and select friends can get in for freezy.

The new Star Tours is crazy cool, different routes?  I have allot of trips to make, in order to experience the universe in a new light.  Thank god they still have the "lightspeed to Endor"!  Little Mermaid was pretty cute too, nothing beats riding through one of your favorite childhood movies in a clam shell.

Oh Disneyland, I love you... and your bacon wrapped asparagus, riding the Tower of Terror two times in a row, and wine tasting.
